ก้มกราบลาที่หน้าโรงพยาบาล..ยกมือไหว้ท่วมหัวอยู่กลางสะพานอรุณอัมรินทร์ หันหน้าไปที่อาคารเฉลิมพระเกียรติ ศิริราช..

ผมเดินสวนกับประชาชนมากมายที่เตรียมไปจับจองพื้นที่ที่โรงพยาบาล เตรียมรับเสด็จ "ในหลวงในดวงใจ" เป็นครั้งสุดท้าย

กลับบ้านเที่ยงคืนกว่า..นอนร้องไห้เหมือนบ้านอื่นๆ จนเช้าวันศุกร์ที่ 14 ตุลาคม ตรงไปสนามหลวง

แล้วจากนั้น..ทุกอย่างเป็นปรากฏการณ์ที่โลกต้องจารึก ที่ประเทศไทยมีงานศพ พ่อของคนไทยคืนกลับเป็นเทวดา

ผ้าดำขาดแคลน ถนนทุกสายมุ่งสู่พระบรมมหาราชวัง ลูกหลานชาวสยามเข้าแถวกันหลายชั่วโมง ตากแดดตากฝน เพื่อได้กราบพ่อเพียง 2 นาที
